I'm kind if excited, I can't wait to hear what mr reznor comes up with now that he can get away from the nin sound, I'm sure as an artist he wants to expand but has to create something that sounds like nin. Now if he wanted he could do a cover album of captain and tenile if he wished

Between August the 28th & the 30th, I did get to attend "The Outside Lands Festival" in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco...http://www.sfoutsidelands.com It was really FUN! Kinda like a mini-Coachella Fest in the middle of Snow White's forest.
I saw KMFDM play the TLA in Philly last week. The band was pretty tight, but the sound in that venue is not so great. It would have been a much better show if it wasn't all ages.
are they still much of a draw? I used to really like the band, then their sound go so much the same from album to album that I just stopped caring. The other band that really fell apart like that for me was My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, I saw them a ton in the 90s, then early 2000s I saw them and they were terrible, they even put out a live album and it was terrible

I'm going to see & hear THE David J. this Sunday in SF IF the Sierras aren't snowed in...there's gonna be a L & R's cover band performing TOO! It should be FUN! I pray it doesn't snow this wknd though!
BRMC last night in San Francisco, fuckin brilliant, they played for 2 1/2 hours, I was second row center, Robert jumped into the crowd during the encore, just an all around classic! I knew it was going to be good when they played Link Wray and Howlin Wolf as preshow music. :D Also got the new album at the merch stand and an album by the support band The Whigs. The photographer from spin.com was right next to me so hopefully that site will have some good pix soon which will be about from my vantage point.
I like it more and more each time that I listen to it. However, it's not my favorite BRMC album. I got online last Saturday night to double check when they were playing in my area...to my surprise, they were playing right then! I can't believe that I missed them!
